PBCS: What Your Doc Didn’t Tell You About the Pill

Check out this intro video to learn about the course.

Welcome, friend!

In this Thinkbook, we’re going to discuss something that I personally believe isn’t talked about enough—the effect that hormonal birth control has on our bodies and what we can do to better support ourselves and rebalance our hormones naturally, whether you were on the pill in the past, are currently on the pill, or are considering starting the pill sometime in the future.

Sadly, most of the time, doctors don’t give girls and women the information on hormonal birth control they need to make a fully informed decision for their health, which can lead to hormone imbalance, infertility, and symptoms that while quieted on the pill, come back with a vengeance after finally quitting (months, years, or decades down the road).

The purpose of this Thinkbook is not to diagnose you with any medical conditions or to shame you in any way. It’s to teach you the basics about hormonal birth control and what you can do to support your endocrine system, and take your health into your own hands. The purpose of this Thinkbook is entirely educational. My goal for you in taking this course to help you feel more empowered to make informed decisions when it comes to your health!

With that said, I also want you to have fun with it. Although some of these topics can be a little scary, know that I’ve got your back. By the end of this course, you will have all the tools you need to begin to rebalance your hormones and to feel as vibrant and healthy as you deserve to feel! That’s why I’ve included moments of self-reflection throughout this course, so you can really explore how these concepts affect you in your individual experience.
