20-Minute Chakra Meditation

Your chakras, or seven main energy centres, are located in a straight line along your spine (for the most part) beginning at the base of your spine with the root chakra and ending at the top of your head with the crown chakra. These energy centres are aligned with the spinal plexus, the terminals along the spine that allow for communication between your central nervous system and your autonomic nervous system.

By tuning into and balancing your chakras, you help to balance your energy as a whole, bringing fresh energy to your autonomic nervous system and all the glands, organs, and other involuntary processes it governs. The result? A general feeling of increased physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

In this 20-minute guided chakra tune-up meditation, we relax deeply in the body, bring our inner awareness to each of our energy centres, and with the help of affirmations, we tune and balance our energy to feel more balanced, centred, and at peace. Enjoy!
